Wild Orlando: Animals You Will Find In Orlando

Orlando is home to some of the countries most unique wildlife, which is quite rare for a city of its size. Here are some of our favorite creatures you might see while out on the stroll on the outskirts of this great little city.

Alligators

Naturally, Orlando is home to gators. The state is infamous for this animal, and Orlando has its fair share in the suburbs that enjoy the local ponds and waterways as home. If you do see a gator keep an eye on them and keep your distance. Gators are generally docile animals but if they are threatened or are hungry have been known to attack bystanders who come close. They might weigh hundreds of pounds, but these beasts can move quickly if provoked so keep a safe distance!
